Nature Is Key To Creativity

For the longest time, I have been hiking, running, and walking amongst nature. It’s cooling shade, spontaneous interactions, and quite atmosphere creates an environment that naturally lets creativity to spring forth.

I am not just talking about creativity when it comes to Creative Briefs and work but all of life’s challenges. A simple walk might unlock a great date idea with your SO or maybe a challenging hike might inspire you to tackle a new recipe.

Doing it alone or with other people but leave it only to those special to you because there are little distractions in nature so you need to be completely comfortable with yourself or with that person.

To have a fulfilling and healthy level of creativity, having a strong, sustainable, and diverse relationship with Nature is key.

Below are my favourite places to meet nature:

1. Bukit Gasing: 2+ Hrs Long
It’s location close to KL, its winding tracks, and number of hills helps provide a challenging hike that doesn’t require driving out-station and dedicating a whole day with nature.

2. Perdana Botanical Gardens: 1 Hr
The combination of an animal park, a calming lake, and steep paths creates a place of nature that can deliver of one of the most beautiful and peaceful walks in KL.

3. One Utama’s Secret Garden: 20 Mins
Hidden away on one of 1U’s rooftops is a place that is filled with beautiful flowers that can only take you away from reality and into a colourful heaven of scents and colours.
